The Ministry of Transport and Communications continues implementing a number of road projects in the wilayats of the Al Wusta Governorate at a cost of RO. 49,218,485. The most notable of these projects is the no.2-3 roads, about 36.3 km long in the wilayat of A'Duqm at a cost of RO. 4,500,000. The project includes road No. 2 (17.6 km long). It is a three lane road that connects A' Duqm Airport to A'Duqm Port and the dry dock. The road No. 3, 18.7km long, is a two lane road that connects A'Duqm City towards the sea coast. It will end with the crossroad with road No. 2. The two roads include 10 roundabouts, a number of culverts at 80 sites to ensure smooth running of wadi water. It also includes road lighting, protectors, steel barriers and interlocks. Work is also underway at Haima- Al Sahma road, 24.4 km long at a cost of RO. 6,498,957. Abdu Madhabi raod at the wilayat of Haima, 12 km long, at a cost of RO. 971,205, Nafoon road in the wilayat of A'Duqm, 13 km long, at a cost of RO. 1,249,323 and the enhancement of Sinaw - Mahout A'Duqm ( fourth part), about 70 km long.
