In line with its efforts to have the best logistical and support services, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Emirates Facilities Management (EFM). The MoU is aimed at gaining consultancy and other services offered by Emirates Facilities Management, which will support the Ministry in implementing its various tasks. Musabah Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Assistant Undersecretary of Support Services Sector of Ministry of Finance, and Engineer Jamal Salem Al Saidi, Acting Director General of EFM signed the MoU at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. This MoU enables the Ministry to gain the best integrated high-standard solutions with regards to support services including engineering and consultancy services. Musabah Mohammed Al Suwaidi on the occasion said: “We believe in the necessity of providing the best services to MoF’s customers and partners, to create a high quality work environment. In addition, the agreement is a step towards promoting the Ministry’s vision in supporting a sustainable and balanced development for the UAE.” The services provided by Emirates Facilities Management to Ministry of Finance Include managing facilities of the Ministry in accordance with the terms of engineering services memo. These facilities include air conditioning maintenance services, electricity services, maintenance of fire systems and the management of specialised maintenance contracts. Moreover, the memo addressed the implementation of a range of advisory services for the benefit of the Ministry such as estimating assets, asset life cycle management, energy and conservation management, related workshops and training courses, along with providing relevant consultation.
