Finance Minister Anas Al-Saleh Wednesday received and held talks over economic relations with ambassadors of France, Britain and Cuba. In a press statement, the Finance Ministry said that Minister Al-Saleh discussed with French Ambassador Christian Nakhle preparations for the 13th meeting of the joint Kuwaiti-French Ministerial Committee for Economic and Industrial Cooperation which will be held in Paris on February 17. Minister Al-Saleh and Ambassador Nakhle concurred on several key issues relative to bilateral cooperation to be tackled during the 13th meeting of the joint committee. The statement also pointed out that Minister Al-Saleh received British Ambassador Frank Baker and discussed with him means to boost economic cooperation between the two friendly countries. The Minister also apprised Cuban Ambassador Andres Gonzalez Garrido off the need to sign and endorse the agreement of investment encouraging and protection and to complete negotiations over an agreement for double taxation evasion.
