Tehran - FNA

Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri announced on Monday that President Rouhani's government will provide more and better opportunities for the private sector's investment in the country’s macro industrial and economic projects, specially in the telecommunications industry. The government is willing to remove all obstacles on the way of lawful activities of the private sector in the telecommunication industry,” Jahangiri said, addressing farewell ceremony held for former Communications and Information Technology Minister Mohammad Hossein Nami. He said that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is tasked with providing private sector with software support and financial resources. Iran has managed to make remarkable achievements in scientific and industrial fields in recent years and produced many devices locally. Sanctions imposed against Iran over its peaceful nuclear program have helped the country obtain self-reliance and self-sufficiency in scientific spheres.
