Barring unforeseen circumstances, Greek Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras and troika representatives Matthias Mors (EU), Klaus Mazuch (ECB), both from Germany, and Paul Thomsen (IMF) from Denmark, will meet October 1 to finalize 2013-2014 budget cuts in exchange for a 31.5-billion-euro tranche of bailout funds. Negotiations between the troika and the finance ministry will continue over the current week. On the table are proposed cuts to certain ministries and local institutions, which the troika officials deem not to be in line with their requirements, local media reported on Monday.
