“Aida Diva”, one of the largest cruise ships in the world, has made its first cruise to popular Turkish port town and tourist resort Marmaris. The cruise liner, sailing under the Italian flag, is reported to have about 2,000 passengers, most of whom are German nationals, along with 599 personnel. Marmaris port officials said thecruise liner was expected to continue making periodical trips to the district throughout the season. Aida Diva, which joined the line of Aida Cruises in 2007, is among the largest cruise liners in the world with a length of 250 meters and weight of 69,203 gross tons. The cruise ship features top-of-the-line suites, swimming pools, saunas, gyms and performance halls. Aida Diva in the evening will depart for Antalya, the most visited tourism center in Turkey.
