The Emirates Identity Authority has organised the second internal conference for its employees under the theme: "The Second Identity Dialogue 2013". The conference's organisation was in line with Emirates ID's higher management efforts to boost interactive communication among its organisational leaderships and employees, engage its cadres in formulating action plans, proposing initiatives and projects that may contribute to realising its vision and strategic objectives as well as instilling the culture of excellence and innovation. Emirates ID emphasised that the conference was aimed at enhancing communication between its leadership and employees in all sectors, department, offices and centres across the country. This can be achieved through conducting constructive dialogue, exercising brainstorming and dissemination of positive energy. Over 500 employees participated in the conference which addressed a number of issues aimed at enabling Emirates ID to fulfil its mission as a government entity supporting transformation into smart government, boost its excellence approach, develop its services and elevate its competitiveness. This is in line with the Authority's endeavour to become the best government organization in the country. The conference was held at Sharjah College of Medicine in the presence of Dr. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Director General of Emirates ID. Throughout the conference sessions, an open and transparent dialogue was conducted between the leadership and employees from Emirates ID's various departments and organisational units. Dr. Al Khouri underlined Emirates ID's keenness to inspire its employees to shoulder their responsibilities, asking them to, "Be honest and loyal to their work, and thus contribute to the achievement of the U.A.E. prudent leadership's vision to rank the U.A.E. as the world's Number 1 in all fields, and help maintain the happiness of the U.A.E. society. This can be achieved through persistent development and modernization, continual improvement of the quality of Emirates ID's internal and external services, meeting its customers' requirements and providing them with qualitative and distinguished services." In his speech during the conference, Dr. Al Khouri said that based on directives of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Chairman of Emirates ID, and follow-up by H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and Vice-Chairman of Emirates ID, "The Authority's higher management focuses on realising excellence, innovation and creativity in all the services provided to customers. This is done through developing human resources, meeting their requirements, uplifting their skills and potentials in order to enable them achieve innovation in serving customers and bringing happiness to them. This should in turn help build up employees' loyalty to their work and organisations through improving the internal work environment and inspiring positive energy in them." Dr. Al Khouri concluded by urging all the Authority's employees in all their capacities to strive in paying back to the country and its prudent leadership, to contribute to making the U.A.E. as one of the world's best countries and raise its name high through innovation and creativity, set up clear objectives and plans and work on implementing them with responsibility and well-established confidence, "The ultimate goal is to contribute to the building process in our beloved country and boost its global competitiveness."
