The Minister at the Higher Investment Council, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, affirmed that the arrangements and preparations for the activities of the Sudanese - Saudi economic and Investment Forum, scheduled in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during April 13 -14, have been undertaken in a good manner by the entities and organizations of the private sectors in the two countries. The minister asserted in a statement to SUNA the keenness of the state to introduce during the forum a new vision for the Saudi investments in Sudan including establishment of special free zones to be granted special facilities for launching investment projects with focusing on the fields of meat, wheat and all goods contributing to realization of the food security. Dr. Ismail revealed completion of preparation for large investment projects in the fields of food security to be exposed with special facilities for partnership between Sudan and Saudi Arabia. He said that the forum would avail opportunity for the states and private sector to expose and forward their investment projects in various domains particularly agriculture, livestock and minerals besides production and export of fruits and real estates.
