A record number of international pavilions from the world’s emerging real estate markets will be out in force at Cityscape Global, due to start in October. The three-day event, which takes place from October 2-4, 2012 will showcase some of the most promising real estate investment opportunities available to Gulf investors. Pavilions from Turkey, Russia, Qatar, Egypt, the Americas, India and Iraq will be centre of attention at the event, which has become a significant international platform for the real estate industry. The Turkish pavilion in particular will be a major attraction, with key developers launching several large scale real estate projects in the Southeast European country, which was recently announced as the Country of Honour at Cityscape Global. “The record number of international pavilions and noticeable increase of UAE developers this year at Cityscape Global bodes well for the local and emerging real estate markets alike,” Wouter Molman, Exhibition Director for Cityscape Global, said. Now in its 11th edition, Cityscape Global is the annual meeting point for key real estate investors, developers, investment promotion authorities, architects, designers and real estate professionals to drive growth in real estate investment and development across emerging markets globally. This year, international participation will exceed more that 50 per cent of exhibition space – the largest percentage of international exhibitors in the history of the event. “We are now really seeing strong results of our repositioning strategy three years ago to increase international appeal of the exhibition, and as emerging real estate markets continue to grow, we look forward to adding even more international pavilions in years to come,” Molman said.
