The Cabinet, in its session today chaired by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, discussed a recommendation by the Economic Development Committee to pursue converting public institutions into public or private share holding companies. The Cabinet instructed the minister of industry, trade and supply and other concerned ministers to study the feasibility of each institution that can be converted into a public or private share holding company in line with laws to revoke certain previous laws under which such institutions were established.
