His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met Chairman of the Board of the LGT Group, His Serene Highness Prince Phillip Erasmus Ferdinand Maria Sebaldus from Liechtenstein at the Gudiabiya Palace. During the meeting His Royal Highness highlighted Bahrain’s strong environment is underpinned by its strategic location and economic freedom, and emphasised that Bahrain’s continuing prioritisation of attracting investment and reinforcing Bahrain’s status as a regional financial hub forms part of the development programme initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Royal Highness also touched on relations between Bahrain and Liechtenstein, welcoming the LGT Group’s presence in Bahrain, and discussed ways Bahrain can help the LGT Group expand operations within the region. In addition, His Royal Highness expressed his interest in further developing bilateral ties with Liechtenstein, particularly within the economic sphere. For his part, His Serene Highness expressed his gratitude for the support of His Royal Highness to further develop relations between the kingdom of Bahrain and Liechtenstein. His Serene Highness went on to praise the assistance the LGT Group has received during its set-up process in the Kingdom.
