Bahrain's national guards started Saturday carrying out patrols in strategic locations in the country amid escalating risk of insecurity, the Information Affairs Authority said on twitter. The authority also tweeted the guards are also patrolling areas around car dealerships in the Shiite region of Sitra, where arsonists set a showroom and a warehouse of Hyundai on fire on Wednesday. The move came as a response to the two arsons, which destroyed some 60 vehicles, as well as a series of explosions in the capital Manama last week, which killed two Asians and injured another person.
