His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met a delegation from the Russian-Bahrain Business Council (RBBC) headed by Alexander Axenenok, Chief Coordinator and Managing Director at Vnesheconombank, the Russian state corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs, at Sakhir Palace. His Royal Highness welcomed the delegation and recalled the recent successful visit of His Majesty the King to Russia, which contributed to boosting bilateral cooperation. His Royal Highness expressed the hope that the delegation’s visit will also achieve the same results. He added that continued coordination and cooperation is further enhanced by cultural interaction, given the interest and appreciation of Russian culture in the Kingdom. Mr. Axenenok congratulated His Royal Highness on his appointment as First Deputy Prime Minister and wished him every success in the role. He also expressed his agreement with His Royal Highness on the importance of increasing the quantity and quality of bilateral trade exchange, on which the delegation’s meetings were focused.
