Economists who took part in the Anadolu Agency's (AA) "Inflation Expectation Survey" have predicted that the inflation rate in March would be 0.43 percent. Anadolu Agency Finance Desk's expectation survey regarding inflation rate in March has been released. Turkish Statistical Institute, TurkStat, will announce the inflation rate on April 3. According to the results of the survey which was fulfilled with the attendance of 19 economists, the average inflation rate in March was predicted to be 0.43 percent by economists. The highest expectation of economists for the inflation rate for the month of March was 0.58 percent while the lowest was 0.3 percent. On the other hand, 18 economists predicted that the average inflation rate at the end of the year would be 6.83 percent The lowest of those predictions was 6.2 percent while highest was 7.9 percent. TurkStat announced earlier that the inflation rate was 0.3 percent in February and the annual inflation rate as of February was 7.03 percent.
