Guinea's Minister for Foreign Affairs Lounceny Fall on Monday stated that there were many areas to develop cooperation between Turkey and Guinea. Fall visited the Izmir Chamber of Commerce (IZTO) in western resort city of Izmir. Stating that issues such as removing of double taxation and incentivizing foreign investments would be discussed at the 18th Turkey Guinea Joint Economic Forum to be held in Ankara, Fall said, "Turkey has a special place for African countries, we admire its economic dynamism." Fall also expressed their support for Izmir's EXPO 2020 candidacy. Ekrem Demirtas, Chairman of the Executive Board of IZTO, said Turkey's trade with Africa had reached 12 billion dollars in 2012 and emphasized the support of Turkish Airlines' flights to new destinations in Africa.
