Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) received today a high level delegation from Qatar. The delegation was headed by the CEO of Qatar Exchange Rashed Al Mansouri. The delegation was received by Rashed Al Baloushi CEO of ADX as well as senior ADX staff. The visit aims to enhance and strengthen economic and commercial cooperation between the UAE and Qatar in general, and between ADX and Qatar exchange in particular. The meeting discussed the latest developments in the world of money and finance and the relations between the two organisations and ways of strengthening them. Rashed Al Baloushi, Chief Executive of ADX welcomed the delegation emphasising the importance of such visits in strengthening UAE-Qatar relations as well as providing an active channel of communication which would have a positive effect on the development of both exchanges. ADX Chief Executive reiterated, "The policies adopted by Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange are aligned with Abu Dhabi government 2030 Strategic Plan, in its Key Performance Indicators and Strategic Initiatives," adding that, "Strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation meets the demands of both sides on economic development." It is worth mentioning that Qatar Telecom (Qtel) was listed on ADX in the telecommunication sector in the year 2002 .
