The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange ended Sunday trading on a shy green of 6,080.4 points, an up of 2.5 points, while the weighted index came to 421.69 points, a drop of 1.51 points. Trades came to 1,813 transactions worth KD 14,826,610, with 93,270,000 shares changing hands. The sector indices finished the day with three in green, four in red, and insurance unchanged. The services, non-Kuwaiti, and industry indices were up 52 points, 22.3 points, and 10.1 points respectively. Meanwhile biggest loss of 47.7 points was suffered by the banks index, followed by slips of 16.2 in the food index, 8.5 points in the investment sector, and 6.9 points in the real estate sector. Top share for the day was that of Bayan Investment, while worst hit was stock of Al-Safat Company, and top volume share for the day was that of Gulf Finance House.
