Manama - BNA

Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), one of the pioneers of corporate social responsibility initiatives in Bahrain, provided sponsorship support for the Second Bahrain International Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conference/Exhibition.
Held under the kind patronage of Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza in the period February 9-11, the theme for the Second Bahrain International Corporate Social Responsibility Conference and Exhibition is "Beyond Eco-Industrialism: Paving the way for a better tomorrow".
Alba’s support to this major CSR event is in line with its consistent track record as a Company that contributes positively to society. Alba’s stand at the exhibition, being held in parallel to the Conference, will highlight the various CSR projects that the Company is involved in.
Commenting on the sponsorship support for the Second Bahrain International Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conference and Exhibition, Alba’s CEO, Tim Murray said:
"Alba has been at the forefront of corporate social responsibility initiatives, which stems from a sense of desire to contribute positively to society. As an active member of the society, Alba has played a pivotal role in supporting the local community through its contributions to social development programs as well as partnerships with relevant government and private organizations. We are proud to be associated with this significant event, which will further strengthen our forty-year legacy as a company that cares."
The Second Bahrain International Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conference and Exhibition event is a unique platform for government authorities, the private sector, companies, agencies, experts and the general public to meet and discuss the latest CSR trends worldwide.
This event is also the ideal platform for organisations to showcase their completed or ongoing CSR projects.
