G20 summit
Vladivostok - Itar-Tass

The upcoming G20 summit in Brisbane, Australia, may become a good floor for exchanging experience in the sphere of infrastructure projects and for training specialists, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an exclusive interview with TASS ahead of the event.
Putin said that Australia’s proposal to set up a center of infrastructure investment was a follow-up to Russia’s proposals at the G20 summit in St. Petersburg in 2013.
He said that the Brisbane agenda proved that Russia with its priorities of developing infrastructure was “on the right track” and “absolutely in the mainstream.”
“The international community — the economic one in this case — abides by the same view of government actions in the situation that’s taking shape in world economy,” Putin said. “The fact merely confirms we’re right and this is always pleasant and useful to know.”
In the past years, the Russian government has been focused on the development of infrastructure and planned to allocate money from the National Welfare Fund on the key projects in this sphere.
Among them are the construction of the Central Ring Motorway around Moscow, the extension of the Trans-Siberian and Baikal-Amur railways and others.
