Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab
Cairo - MENA

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab received on Wednesday a report on the conditions of Egyptian workers abroad.
The report, submitted by Manpower Minister Nahed el Ashri, shed light on efforts by the ministry to improve the conditions of Egyptians workers in the Gulf region.
The minister referred to the agreement reached with the Kuwaiti Labor Ministry to increase by 50 percent the minimum limit of the monthly wage of Egyptian workers as of January.
Kuwait also decided to increase by 70 percent Egyptian workers' daily wages, the minister said, adding that such steps are expected to increase workers' money transfers to their homecountry by 30 percent.
