ILO, Egypt mull new labour data unit

The International Labor Organization is considering with the Egyptian planning ministry to set up a technical unit to gather data of labor in Egypt, an official of the ILO office in Cairo has said.
Such a unit will provide a better environment to businesses in the country on sound bases, Yousef Qaryouti, who leads the ILO Decent Work Team for North Africa and ILO Country Office for Egypt, told MENA.
He was speaking on the sidelines of an employment forum.
