Two fugitives were killed and one was arrested in a major security campaign in Islamilia governorate.
The campaign was led by the Interior Ministry's General Drug-Combat Department, in coordination with Ismailia Police Directorate and other concerned police departments.
The operation targeted fugitive elements and runaway prisoners since the January 2011 Revolution's incidents.
The targeted hideout in Ismailia was home to criminal elements from other governorates who were convicted in separate cases involving drugs and arms' dealing, theft and violence against police forces.
The operation witnessed an exchange of fire and all relevant legal measures were taken.
