Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid said that trade with Libya can be resumed especially that a Libyan national reconciliation cabinet will be formed soon.

The premier's remark came during his meeting with governors on Sunday.

Essid underlined that the economic condition in the country is tough during the current phase, adding that he hopes that the security conditions will improve.

He called on the governors to exert more efforts to preserve their achievements especially after activating the phosphate sector and the chemical industries.

It was agreed with the Tunisian General Labor Union and the Tunisian Union for Commerce, Industry and Handicrafts to spread peace for two years to lure Tunisian and foreign businessmen to invest in the country, he underscored.

The prime minister stressed on the importance of finishing the pending developmental projects.
