At least 1052 Palestinians have been killed, most of whom are women, children, and elderly, while more than 5840 have been injured since the beginning of Israel’s aggression on Gaza which started on July 8, according to medical statistics.
On Sunday, Hazem Abu-Shammaleh, 32, and Isam Abu-Saada, 35, were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli bombing of a motorbike in az-Zanna district, east of Khan Yunes, said WAFA correspondent.
Meanwhile, two Palestinians were killed and a dozen others were injured, including a woman seriously, as Israeli jet fighters targeted a group of people in Nusseirat refugee camp. The fatalities were identified as Alaa Mattar and Ibrahim ad-Dirawi.
Several others were reported injured, including many seriously, in Israeli air attacks that hit Nusseirat camp in central Gaza. They were transferred to hospital for medical treatment.
A child was also reported injured as the Israeli artillery launched indiscriminate artillery fire on az-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Earlier, a Palestinian was killed as the Israeli army targeted a crowd of people with heavy fire in Deir el-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Israeli artillery also bombed several areas across Gaza, including Shujaeyya neighborhood and Bureij refugee camp. The number of casualties is still unknown.
16-year-old Yousef Hammouda died of his wounds he sustained in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City two days ago, WAFA correspondent quoted medical sources.
Meanwhile, Ekram Shanbari, 23, died of her wounds sustained after Israeli artillery shelling on eastern Gaza City a few days ago.
To be noted, Israeli army prevents medical teams, medics, civil defense and journalists from entering the besieged border village of Khuza’a, southeast of Khan Yunes. The village has been bombed intensively during the past days where dozens were killed and hundreds were injured.
WAFA correspondent reported a heavy artillery shelling on Zahraa district to the south of Gaza.
The shelling came concurrently with an airstrike that targeted al-Shurouq Building in Gaza which houses media centers and residential apartments.
