The Ministry of Transportation the signing of an agreement to manage flights The Iraqi Ministry of Transportation has revealed the signing of an agreement with Bosnia to manage constant flights between the two countries on Monday,. The ministry said in a statement: “The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority has signed an agreement with the Bosnian Civil Aviation Authority in Sarajevo to manage flights between the two countries. The agreement will promote economic co-operation between the two countries”.
“This agreement accompanies government efforts for openness with other countries and to ease transportation of Iraqis to Bosnia including students as well as those staying in nations neighbouring Bosnia.”
Iraq Airways signed a bilateral agreement with one airline company in Ukraine in September 2011 for seven flights per week to the civil airports in the two countries.
On May 8, Vice President of the Republic Khudair Khuzaie called on the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina to urge its companies to contribute to the reconstruction of Iraq due to their expertise in building and reconstruction from the 1992 Bosnian War. Meanwhile the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina has shown interest in developing economic, political and scientific joint operations between the two countries.
At the end of 2010, Iraq Airways revealed that a large number of  European and International airlines had offered to provide links from its countries to Iraq and vice versa.
