The Coalition Command to Support the Legitimacy in Yemen announced that Saudi Air Defense Forces intercepted four ballistic missiles launched by the Yemeni Houthi militias towards the cities of Khamis Mushayt and Abha, on Tuesday morning, and they were intercepted and destroyed without causing any damage, according to SPA.

The Command said in a statement today the Coalition air forces immediately targeted the launching sites, stressing that the continuation of militias in targeting cities with ballistic missiles is the largest evidence of continuing smuggling of weapons to Yemen by all ways and means, especially from the port of Hodeidah.

The spokesman for the Arab Alliance, Major General Ahmad Asiri, said that Iran provided the Houthis with additional platforms to launch ballistic missiles in Yemen. "If we look at all the smuggling operations in the Middle East in two years, we will find them coming from Iran and then to ports in the horn of Africa, and then to the conflict areas, whether in Africa or Yemen," Asiri said. He called on the international community to confront the Iranian behavior, saying: "There is a state that clearly recognizes the smuggling of weapons and does not hide it."

On the other hand, Yemeni army forces managed to counter a violent attack by the militia on their positions in Maris, north of Dali. Field sources said that the brigades' forces had responded to a violent attack by the militias on their positions in the western axis of the Ya'ies front.

The clashes between the two sides, which used various types of medium and heavy weapons, lasted for several hours. The sources confirmed that the artillery of the National Army launched violent bombardment on the positions and gatherings of Houthis in Najd al-Qurain and Arraf, south of the city of Dimit.

The Saudi-led coalition has launched a series of air strikes since the war began but the Houthis remain entrenched in most of northern Yemen, including the capital Sanaa.

The military forces in Hadramout announced the arrest of Abu Ali al-Sairi, the second-in-command of al-Qaeda on Tuesday. Sources in the elite forces of Hadramiya said that a special force carried out a security operation after a delicate intelligence operation succeeded in beating the second man in al-Qaeda, "Abu Ali al-Sairi."

The source confirmed that the operation revealed the military capabilities reached by Yemeni forces trained recently by the Arab coalition forces and the UAE in particular, in the fight against terrorism.

Meanwhile, Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi arrived at the Queen Alia International Airport in Amman to participate in the 28th Arab Summit to be held in the Dead Sea region of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

King Abdullah II welcomed President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi in his second country Jordan, stressing Jordan's permanent stands and supporting Yemen and its constitutional legitimacy to take its place and contribute its active role with its brothers in all forums and events.

President Hadi expressed his great pleasure in participating in the 28th Arab summit hosted by the Kingdom of Jordan, which will be an important step in uniting the nation and promoting joint Arab action in light of the dangers and challenges facing the region.
