Davos - MENA

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi underlined that the heinous terrorist acts, that took place during the past period, prompted us to call for the renewal of the religious discourse which, he said, is the mission of Al-Azhar scholars.
The moderate teachings of Islam were not obvious to the world in the past but Egypt seeks to clarify them, Sisi said.
The president's remarks came during a special session held on the sidelines of World Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday.
