Kuwait - KUNA

Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) started a soft launch Sunday for its new website with an advanced friendly user interface, CBK Governor Dr. Mohammad Al-Shahel announced Sunday. Al-Shahel told KUNA that the new website would allow the bank to offer rich economic, commercial, legal data and reports through an advanced search system that would enable users to easily obtain the information they look for. He added that there will be two soft launches for the website: One in English, as the current one, and the second in Arabic. He noted that the CBK's old website would still be running with a link to the new website for a smooth transition between the two websites. CBK always aspires to develop its services by utilizing the latest technologies; hence, comes the launch of the new website. The governor, nonetheless, encouraged users to submit any suggestions or comments on the new website by filling out a pop-up survey.
