Egyptian higher educationministry denies receiving petition against new bill

The Higher Education Ministry denied news reports that some 2,000 professors submitted a petition against a Higher Education bill.
The ministry spokesman Adli Reda said the draft law has net been finalized, noting that the panel tasked with drawing up the bill convened three times only.
He reiterated that once the bill is finalized it will be put to public discussions.
