Security bodies in Cairo managed to arrest two students who set on fire two central security vehicles in front of el Sallam Mosque in Nasr City.
The perpetrators also wounded a conscript.
One of the students was formerly accused of joining a banned group. Clothes bearing the four-finger sign, fireworks and forged metal plates were also found in his possession.
Camouflage pattern uniforms were found in possession of the second student.
They confessed of committing the crime in cooperation with others.
The general prosecution was notified to open a probe.
