Two pro-Kurdish ministers accused Turkey's government of promoting a "logic of war" after they quit the cabinet on Tuesday.
EU Affairs Minister Ali Haydar Konca, who resigned together with Development Minister Muslum Dogan, said the government's two-month-old military offensive against Kurdish rebels had created a "hellish" situation "especially in the Kurdish cities".
"A logic of war has been put into place that makes us nostalgic for the days of martial law and the 1990s," Konca told reporters.
