Singer George Wasoof
Beirut - Michelle Hadad

Sources revealed the arrival of Lebanese singer George Wasoof to Cairo to participate in a singing party organized by Kempinski Hotel, while he was surprised of transferring the party to another hotel. He blamed the company which contracted with him for not paying the financial dues to the hotel.

According to the sources, the members of his music band have not obtained visas to enter the Egyptian territories, the matter that raised his anger as he did not conduct any rehearsals with the musicians who will participate with him during the party.

The sources added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that the Lebanese singer has not agreed with the company to conduct a press conference, while he was surprised that they called journalists for a press conference immediately after his arrival to Cairo after exhausting flight.

A state of shock dominated the Lebanese artist, who avoids to talk with the press, as he felt that the position came to incite the Egyptian newspapers to launch a press campaign against him. He stressed his respect to the Egyptian media, saying that he has not clashed with them before
