
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent cables of gratitude to the leaders of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar and Bahrain for their hospitality during his "brotherly" visit to the three countries on Friday.
His Highness Sheikh Sabah sent a cable to the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan to thank him for the warm reception that he and his official delegation received during the brotherly visit to the UAE.
This hospitality, said His Highness the Amir in his cable to Sheikh Khalifa, reflected strong bonds between the two countries and people.
His Highness the Amir sent similar cables to the UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashed Al-Maktoum, and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of Armed Forces sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
His Highness the Amir also sent a cable of gratitude to Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for the hospitality he received during his brotherly visit to Doha.
His Highness Sheikh Sabah expressed content for the meeting he had with Sheikh Tamim which reflected the the "historic" relations between the two countries and people.
His Highness the Amir also sent another cable to Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to thank him for the brotherly atmosphere that surrounded their meeting in Manama.
