MP Ahmed Al-Mulla was today elected new Parliament Speaker by 27 votes while MP Abdulla bin Huwail, who was also vying for the chairmanship of the 40-seat Parliament, won 13 votes. The elections were held today at the inaugural session of the Council of Representatives.
