The General Department of Children Centres in Sharjah, a Department of the Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs, will announce new features, initiatives, programmes and workshops during the 12th edition of the Sharjah Arab Children Forum 2016. The announcement will take place at a press conference on Monday March 14th, at Al Noor Island, Sharjah, at 11.00am.
The Sharjah Arab Children Forum, organised by the General Department of Children Centres in Sharjah under the slogan "Hear Us - We are the Future", is held under the patronage of Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) and wife of the Ruler of Sharjah.
Reem BinKaram, Director of the General Department of Children Centres in Sharjah, along with key members from the organising committee, will announce the number of children participating at the forum, the number of participating Arab countries from the Middle East and North Africa, and unveil a series of new training programmes and educational workshops.
The forum, which is set to take place from March 28th until April 3rd, will focus on developing and empowering children's skills by providing them with inspirational, team-building, and motivational programmes that will enable them to succeed in future innovation and leadership roles.
