Four Russian warships led by missile cruiser Moskva on Tuesday arrived in the port of Malabo in Equatorial Guinea on an official visit, the Sputnik cited the Russian Defense Ministry as saying.
"Today, on July 21, a Russian naval task force comprising missile cruiser Moskva, frigate Pytlivy, tanker Ivan Bubnov, and rescue tugboat Shakhter made a port call in the capital of Equatorial Guinea, Malabo," the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
Russia and Equatorial Guinea on Monday signed an intergovernmental agreement on simplified entry of Russian warships to the ports in the Central African state.
