It is inspiring to see the passion our nationals have for the community and their drive to contribute to its progress, especially at such a young age."

The fact we have siblings winning this year's edition of the Award is testament to the importance families have in helping children contribute to our community."

Under the theme "From College to Career", the Youth Forum was attended by hundreds of students from the ages of 17 to 25 from across the UAE. For the fifth year, it offered students the opportunity to interact with Emirati leaders, and introduced them to opportunities and programmes at Mubadala-owned companies.

The forum included a number of interactive sessions with Homaid Al Shemmari, Chief Executive Officer, Aerospace and Engineering Services, Mubadala, Dr. Sheikh Majid Al Qasimi, Veterinarian and Director, Terrestrial Biodiversity, Environment Agency-Abu Dhabi, and Iman Al Qassim, Associate Director of Human Capital, Mubadala, who shared their own career journeys, provided insights on making the transition to employment, and discussed the impact young nationals can have in developing the nation's economy.

The forum concluded with students attending a hands-on workshop that provided practical experience to help with their career progression in today's diversified economy.
