Moroccan King Mohammed VI is due to arrive in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to hold talks with top officials on regional developments.
In a statement, the Moroccan Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery said King Mohammed VI will begin a working visit to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
The visit will be the Moroccan monarch's first meeting with Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz since the latter ascended the throne in 2014.
The talks are expected to touch on the Saudi-led military operation in Yemen which Morocco joined.
King Mohammed VI is currently in Abu Dhabi for talks with officials in the United Arab Emirates.
