The Iraqi forces, affiliated to Baghdad Operation Command, killed nine elements of Daesh terrorist group in western the capital Baghdad Monday.
Two elements of Sahwa were killed, while three others were injured when an explosive charge went off northern Baghdad.
A statement issued by Baghdad Operation Command said its forces managed to kill nine extremists and destroyed their two vehicles in al Karma, eastern Fallujah.
Another force dismantled eight sticky explosive charges in northern Baghdad, the statement added.
A roadside explosive charge went off in Taramiya, leaving two elements of Sahwa dead and three others wounded, according to a security source.
