Eight Iraqis were killed while 29 others were injured when two booby-trapped cars exploded in two separate attacks in northern and southern Baghdad, security sources said on Saturday.
A suicide bomber blew up a booby-trapped car at the entrance of a checkpoint in northern Baghdad.
Six people were killed while 20 others were injured in the blast.
Meanwhile, another booby-trapped car exploded while Iraqi army vehicles were passing by in southern Baghdad.
