
A strike over pay by Air Algerie cabin crew severely disrupted traffic at Algiers international aiport Tuesday, state radio reported. The state airline\'s chief, Mohamed Salah Boultif, said the strike, which began Monday, led to the cancellation of 146 of 186 flights. He said the airline, given its poor financial health, was in no position to grant the 106 percent pay hike sought by the strikers. He however pledged to agree to a 20 percent par rise for all airline employees.
