Minister of Transport Waed Bathib headed on Wednesday to the Turkish capital Istanbul to participate in meetings of the 16 session of the European-Asian Economic Summit.In a statement to Saba, Bathib said that the summit, which will start today and last for two days with participation of 40 countries, will discuss a number of important topics and issues.The topics and issues to be addressed in the summit include energy, health, dialogue between cultures, environment, information technology and telecommunications and their effects on the economic growth , as well as strengthening of the regional cooperation in the field of telecommunications and encouraging investments that contribute to developing of cooperation relations between the countries.Bathib pointed out that he will meet, on sidelines of the summit, with a number of his counterparts participating in the summit to talk on the bilateral cooperation relations and ways of boosting them, especially in the different areas of transport.
