Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi reviewed hereon Sunday with the Iranian Deputy Minister of Energy Masoud Hosseini, and his accompanying delegation, the bilateral relations bewtween the two countries. Al-Qirbi stressed his country’s keenness on enhancing these relations and the importance of removing all that may negatively affect them, stressing Yemen’s desire on building relations far from interfering in internal affairs of any country. He also urged Muslim countries to utilize all their resources for the unity of the Islamic nation, and service of its causes, away from all forms of conflicts sectarian or other. For its part, the Iranian side emphasized Tehran’s keenness on Yemen’s unity, security, stability and sovereignty, calling for developing the relations between the two countries and adopting negotiation and constructive dialogue to deepen their ties to serve stability in the region as a whole. During the meeting, the Iranian delegation delivered an invitation addressed to the Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi from his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to participate in the Non-Aligned Summit, to be held in Tehran in August.
