Vietnam targets a border trade turnover of 60 billion U.S. dollars with China in 2015, according to Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade on Tuesday. The country will also work to lift border trade turnover with Cambodia to 5 billion U.S. dollars and with Laos to 2 billion U.S. dollars in 2015, said the ministry at a seminar held in Vietnam's capital Hanoi on Tuesday. From 2008 to September 2013, Vietnam's total border trade turnover reached 72 billion U.S. dollars, an average increase of ten percent annually, said the ministry. In 2012, Vietnam pocketed 13.1 billion U.S. dollars from border trade with China, Cambodia and Laos, up 27 percent year-on-year, accounting for 5 percent of its total trade turnover. Vietnam shares border lines with China, Cambodia and Laos.
