Businessmen from the United States arrived in Turkey's western province Izmir for bilateral meetings on Monday. The program, organized by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and Turkey's Commercial Attaché Consulate General in Chicago invited nine businessmen from the US, who visited the Izmir Chamber of Commerce (IZTO). The International Trade Specialist for Europe of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity Iwona Boschenka said that the program was developed to boost the bilateral cooperation and that they signed an agreement of cooperation between both countries' chambers and universities. Representatives of several sectors like electronics, railroad, mining, logistic and the automotive were part of the delegation.
