Prime Minister Ali Larayedh conferred, on Tuesday, with United Kingdom's Ambassador in Tunis Christopher O'Connor, who extended to him a message of good wishes for success in his new functions on head of the government from his opposite number David Cameron. In this message, Cameron asserts UK's commitment to keep on supporting Tunisia to succeed in its democratic transition and ensure a secure and prosperous future to the Tunisian people, either as part of bilateral relations or within the framework of the UK's presidency of the G8, or as part of the European Union. The meeting was an occasion to discuss the prospects of bilateral co-operation and incentives to British investment in Tunisia, a communiqué of the Prime Ministry reads. O'Connor informed the PM about the projects considered by some British firms, notably in the renewable energies field.
