Tunisia and Serbia on Wednesday signed three agreements to boost bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, transport, education, sciences, culture and sports fields. The three-year deals were inked by Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic who is paying a two-day visit to Tunisia. During a joint press conference at the Presidential Palace of Carthage, the Serbian president expressed his country's readiness to take the Tunisian-Serbian cooperation to a new level and to help Tunisian investors establish potential partnerships with their Serbian counterparts. Nikolic added that he is not satisfied with the trade exchange volume between the two countries, highlighting Tunisia's economic stability and its privileged status with the EU and Russia. The Tunisian president said that investors can play a key role in strengthening the ties between the two countries, reiterating his country's openness to the world.
