Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade, has invited President of International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Kanayo F. Nwanze to attend the investment conference scheduled to be held in Dubai from 30 April to 2 May 2013. The invitation was delivered to Mr. Nwanze during an audience here by Abdul Aziz Nasser Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Italy, UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and IFAD. The meeting discussed relations between the UAE and IFAD and arrangements for the upcoming visit of Mr. Nwanze to the UAE to attend the Summit on the Global Agenda to be held in Dubai on 12-14 November 2012. IFAD president lauded the growing relations of cooperation between his agency and UAE PEER organisations for addressing international challenges facing humanity in the third millennium : poverty and hunger.
