Most of South Korea's key industries are forecast to maintain their upward momentum in the second quarter thanks to the government's economic stimulus plan, a report said Tuesday. According to the report by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and 10 industrial bodies, the Information Technology (IT) industry is forecast to fare the best among 10 local industries in the second quarter thanks to the planned release of new products of smartphones and smart TVs, and a remarkable recovery in semiconductor prices.
