He said in joint press conference here with French President Francois Hollande on Thursday "The progress made, including in the governance of the euro zone, is not sufficient and we need to strengthen the weak part of the system," He also said that Italy and France are both welcoming the latest EU agreement to support the Spanish banks falling in debt crisis. "I want to reaffirm the hope, shared with President Hollande, that Athens will remain in the eurozone and respect its engagements," Monti said.
